What better way to become familiar with history's first cold-connection techniques than to learn and practice them . . .
while making a stylish necklace? You will enjoy discovering how to manipulate a variety of metals such as copper, sterling silver, and red brass, without using heat or glue. Learn how to chase and texture, twist and curve, and to bend and shape these different wires into beads and spacers. Choosing a selection of artistic beads provided by the instructor with your class kit, you will combine all of these items into a fabulous necklace, complete with your own handcrafted hook and eye!

Additional Class Materials Fee: $35.00 (paid directly to instructor on-site). Additional Class Materials Fee Includes: a wide variety of artistic beads, and all necessary wire to complete one necklace in class.
Students are required to bring a notebook, pen, cell phone or digital camera, a bottle of water or drink, and if needed – eye magnification to class.
The instructor will provide all of the tools necessary to make this project in class, however, students are welcome to bring their own tools: bench block, texture & chasing hammers, cushion-style mouse-pad, foot-long plastic ruler, ultra-fine marking pen, thin blue painter's tape or facsimile; jewelers flat, chain, and round nose pliers, wire cutters, pin vise, and a cordless power drill/screwdriver.
